Is it the weekend yet?

Oh boy oh boy, what a long week this has been. On the work front, the project I had been working on went live on Wednesday and glad to say it was a great success with great feedback coming to us from the business. I am overjoyed it is finally over. It was a pretty mundane task but I am pleased with what I achieved with the project in terms of further developing my AJAX skills. High fives all round to my team mates. We are awesome! Haha…

I have a few gatherings lined up this weekend which will provide me with no rest and next weekend I fly down to Melbourne to meet mum and my brother while mum is in town. Looking forward to the trip outside Brisbane and possibly suss things out down there. I’ve gotten very pessimistic about the prospects of continuing my time in Brisbane. A small city that is finally outgrowing its size which is great but sucks at the same time.

Anyway, major redesign will be in place once I knuckle down and get serious. I will try out some AJAX and some other fancy things on here. It will be a great piece to show off my skills, hopefully.
