3 weeks to go!

Can you believe it is almost 3 weeks till 2009? I can’t. I am sitting here wondering where 2008 has gone. I have done plenty in these last 12 months it has been pretty hectic. Here is a round up of the things I’ve done over the months.

• Trip to Singapore
• Learnt how to surf
• 3 trips to Melbourne to visit family
• Bridge to Brisbane – 10km run in 1hr 40mins
• Ran Mt. Coo-tha twice, one 8km and the other 10km, all within 1hr 45mins
• Went to Rugby League World Cup Final where the Kiwis won an exciting game
• Made wonderful friendships with the ladies from the gym
• Turned 26 and celebrated with my closest friends
• Finally got to do some graphic design for work
• Lost on average this year a wonderful 6cms off my butt
• Got to an aussie size 8
• Scored a goal at soccer during boot camp
• Saw Phantom of the Opera, twice
• Saw Bloc Party

I really think I don’t need to complain about this year… although I am not entirely satisfied. LOL. Never will be I guess. I wonder what the new year holds for me. These are a list of things I look forward to next year.

• Completing a half marathon
• Completing Bridge to Brisbane in a shorter time
• Completing a Melbourne Marathon event – 10km or half marathon event depending on what they have
• Learning to surf like a pro
• Keep running Mt. Coo-tha
• Move to Melbourne
• Trip to Singapore
• A possible promotion or just to keep getting better and better at my job
• Get to an aussie size 6

So let me say, bring on the new year because my next 3 weeks will be busy mad with work!!! When will I get to see my desk again???
